As computers purchased with research funds are MIT property, you agree to a bi-annual maintenance check by cron. You will receive a notice from cron when your computer is due. The maintenance performed includes, but is not limited to: hardware diagnostics, firmware/BIOS/OS updates, application updates, backup checks, security and virus/malware audit.
