MacAthena
Note that some software on the Macintosh is Windows-only. This Windows-only software runs in a virtualized environment provided by Citrix or VMware. Some other UNIX-based software is available through X-Windows (X-11) connection to Athena workstations.

Application software on Athena workstations is listed here: ist.mit.edu/.../whereruns. Note that most all this software can run from the convenience of your own or cluster computer. This is a UNIX command line environment and not the Desktop GUI you find at a console. For help see: ist.mit.edu/.../olh#getstart
