Canvas: 'Canvas is a modern, easy-to-use Learning Management System (LMS) that brings instructors, students, and course content together in one place. Explain Everything: 'Explain Everything is a feature-rich digital whiteboard app for tablets and web browsers that is licensed for use by MIT students, faculty, and staff. GitHub: 'GitHub is a MIT site running GitHub Enterprise, a hosted version of the GitHub software. It lets people upload and share programming code with others.' More information on this IS&T KB page.
Panopto: 'Panopto is a secure enterprise-wide video platform which allows anyone with an active MIT Touchstone account to record, livestream, host, share, and search videos. It supports viewing on nearly any internet-connected device and is integrated into MIT's Canvas learning management system. Panopto is also integrated with Zoom, enabling automatic uploads of your Zoom cloud recordings to your Panopto account.' More information on this IS&T KB page.
Piazza: 'Piazza is an online, wiki-style question and answer platform for instructors and students.' More information on this IS&T KB page.
Slack: 'Slack is a messaging and collaboration tool for teams, groups and individuals. Members of a workspace in Slack can direct message individuals or create conversation channels for topics, projects and groups. Conversation channels can be visible to the whole workspace or be set up as private channels accessible by invitation only. There you can share files and connect slack to Dropbox, Google Drive, Zoom, Github, Webex and many more applications and services. Webex: An audio and web conferencing tool that offers a set of services that provides audio, video, and text options. Accessed via the web, participants may share files or use screen sharing to show presentations, applications, or other web sites.' More information on this IS&T KB page.
Zoom: 'Zoom is the audio, web and whiteboarding conferencing tool that offers a set of services that provides audio, video, and text options. Accessed via the web, mobile device or desktop client, participants may hold a virtual meeting or webinar, share files or use screen sharing to show presentations, applications, or other web sites.
